# Rewards Claim Nudge

> Remind wallets sitting on unclaimed rewards or idle stake to come back and claim.

**Goal.** Catch wallets that have rewards to claim (or stake sitting idle) and nudge them to act, which brings dormant users back on-chain.

**Who it's for.** Web3 protocols with staking, yield, or rewards. Web3-only by nature.

**Outcome to move.** Claim rate, and reactivation of idle wallets.

## Prerequisites

* Your staking/rewards contract in [project settings](/getting-started/set-up-project-settings).
* The [in-app SDK](/integrations/in-app-notifications) installed, and wallets [enriched](/intelligence/wallet-enrichment) so you can spot idle positions.

## Build it

<Steps>
  <Step title="Build the 'unclaimed' cohort">
    Build a [segment](/intelligence/reports-and-segments#save-as-a-segment) of wallets that staked but have gone quiet, a good proxy for rewards worth claiming:

    ```sql theme={"theme":{"light":"light-plus","dark":"dark-plus"}}
    SELECT wallet_address
    FROM contact_360
    WHERE last_onchain_action = 'staked'
      AND days_since_last_activity > 14
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Nudge them in-app and by email">
    Run an automation off that segment:

    `trigger (entered Unclaimed segment) → send in-app (You have rewards waiting) → branch (has email → also send email)`
  </Step>

  <Step title="Stop once they claim">
    Watch the contract with the **Rewards claimed** on-chain preset, and tag wallets **Claimed** when they do. Exclude **Claimed** wallets from the segment so you only nudge the ones still sitting on rewards. See [Contract-based flows](/automation/contract-based-flows).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Activate and publish.">
    Both are required.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Test

Add a wallet you control to the cohort, confirm the nudge arrives, claim with it, and confirm the **Rewards claimed** trigger tags it and drops it from the nudge.

## Measure

* **Claim rate** among nudged wallets versus a holdout.
* **Reactivation**: did claimers go on to do more on-chain?
* **Value claimed** that would otherwise have sat idle.

## Variations

* **Restake prompt.** After a claim, nudge them to restake.
* **Tier by size.** A large idle position may warrant a more personal reach.
